JANTAR MANTAR 

Jantar Mantar of Jaipur is an astronomical observatory built by Sawai Jaisingh between 1826 and 1834. It is included in UNESCO's 'World Heritage List'. There are 14 major instruments in this observatory, which are helpful in measuring time, predicting eclipses, knowing the speed and position of a star, knowing the problems of planets in the solar system, etc. Looking at these instruments shows that the people of India had such deep knowledge of complex concepts of mathematics and astronomy that they could form these concepts as an 'educational observatory' so that anyone could know them and enjoy them.

The world-renowned observatory for analyzing and accurately predicting astrological and astronomical phenomena through ancient astronomical instruments and complex mathematical structures was built by King Sawai Jaisingh (II) of Amber, the founder of Jaipur city, under his personal supervision in 1728 Started, which was completed in 1734. Sawai Jai Singh was also an astrophysicist, whose contribution and personality has been praised by Jawaharlal Nehru in his famous book 'Discovery of India' ('India: a discovery').

Before the construction of this observatory, Sawai Jai Singh had sent his cultural envoys to many countries of the world and asked for manuscripts of ancient and important texts of astronomy from there and preserved them in his pothikhana (library) and translated them for his study. Had it done. These observatories were built in Jaipur, Delhi, Ujjain, Benaras and Mathura. He took the help of eminent astronomers of the time in building these observatories. First Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh (II) built the emperor Yantra in Ujjain, then the Observatory (Jantar Mantar) in Delhi and Jantar Mantar in Jaipur ten years later. Jaipur observatory is the largest among all the five observatories in the country.

Nahargarh Fort Is Situated At The Height Of The Aravalli Mountain In The Pink City Of Jaipur, Rajasthan. It Is Definitely Delightful And Fascinating To See This Fort From The City. Nahargarh Fort Was Built In 1734 By Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, The Founder Of Jaipur. For The Protection Of This Mountain And The Walls Are Built, It Is Said That This Fort Used To Be The Capital Of Amer Earlier. At The Time Of The Indian Rebellion Of 1847, The Europeans Of This Region, Including The Wives Of The British, All Were Sent By King Sawai Ram Singh Of Jaipur To Nahargarh Fort For Their Protection.

This Fort Was Expanded In 1868 During The Reign Of King Sawai Ram Singh. During The Time Of 1883-92, Sawai Madho Singh Built Several Palaces In Nahargarh At A Cost Of 3 To 3.50 Lakhs. The Madhavendra Bhavan Built By Sawai Madho Singh Greatly Suits The Queens Of Jaipur And The Main Palace Suits The Raja Of Jaipur. The Rooms Of The Palace Are Connected By Corridors And Some Interesting And Soft Frescoes Are Also Built In The Palace. Nahargarh Fort Was Also The Residence Of Maharajao, Till April 1944, The Jaipur Government Used It For Official Work. Some Scenes From The Hindi Film Rang De Basanti And Shuddh Desi Romance And The Bengali Film Sonar Kella Are Shot In The Nahargarh Fort Itself.

The Most Attractive Part Of The Nahargarh Fort Is The Madhavendra Bhavan, Which Was Built For The Royal Women. The Rooms Of The Palace Have Also Been Connected By Corridors. The Rooms Of The Women In The Palace Have Been Made So That The Maharaja Can Go To Any Queen's Room Without Knowing The Other Queens. The Fort Is Named After Nahar Singh Bhomiya. But Who Is This Person After Whom This Fort Was Named? Some People Believe That He Was A Rathod Prince And The Place Where King Sawai Jai Singh Built This Fort Was That Of Nahar Singh Bhomiya. ChandBawdi Is The Most Beautiful Stepwell In India Located In The Village Of Abhaneri Near Jaipur, Rajasthan. It Is 13 Floor Deep Stepwell. Within The Stepwell, You Will See The Symmetrical Triangular Structure Of The Staircase Reaching The Water Surface And You Will Press The Finger Under The Teeth. This Deepest Stepwell Of India Was Built By Raja Chanda Or Chandra Of Nikumbha Dynasty In The 9th To 9th Century. 1200 To 1300 Years Old, This Structure Is Older Than The Taj Mahal, Khajuraho Temples And Chola Temples But Is Relatively Newer Than The Ajanta And Ellora Caves. Abha Nagari, The Shining City, Is A Small Town Situated On The Jaipur-Agra Road, Which Was Settled By Raja Chand. Famous For The Exciting Stepwells And The Mata Mandir, The Name Of This Town Was Later Changed To Abhaneri.

The Three Walls Of This Stepwell, Which Is 19.5 Meters Deep, Are Built To Provide Geometric Shapes. On The Fourth Wall Several Pillars Have Corridors Built. There Are Two Ailonds, Similar Structures Coming Out Of The Front, Facing Towards The Stepwell. The Magnificent Statues Of Ganesh And Mahishasuramardini On The Lower Floor Of The Stepwell Add To The Beauty Of The Stepwell. If You Look At The West Side Of Chand Bawdi, You Will See A Temple About 100 Meters Away.
Harshat Mata Temple
This Domed Temple Is Dedicated To Harshat Mata. In Some Records, Harshat Mata Has Also Been Called Harsiddhi Mata. She Is Considered To Be The Goddess Of Joy And Joy. The Original Peak Of The Former Mukhi Harshat Temple Is Built In The North Indian Civil System. It Is Also Called Mahameru Shikhar. The Peak Of The Civil System Is A High Cylindrical Form Which Is Found In Abundance In North India. On Top Of This Peak, There Was A Round Stone Disk Called Amalaka.
